This district-wide electrical basic skills competition was hosted by the Jiangchuan District Federation of Trade Unions and Jiangchuan Power Supply Co., Ltd., and organized by Yunnan Jianglin Group Co., Ltd. The theme was 'Striving for Excellence to Promote Leapfrog Development, Competitive Exchange to Showcase Employee Style'. The purpose of the competition was to promote learning through competition, focus on job positions, continuously improve the professional skills of electrical workers in industrial and mining enterprises, enhance safety risk awareness and risk control capabilities, prevent safety accidents, ensure operational safety, and promote talent growth.
Theoretical examination
At 9 a.m. on April 27, the skills competition opening ceremony was held. The ceremony was hosted by Li Chunwei, Vice Chairman of the Jiangchuan District Federation of Trade Unions. Attendees included Lu Fuxian, Vice Chairman of the Jiangchuan District People's Congress and Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions, Li Fen, Vice Chairman of the District Federation of Trade Unions, Wan Ronghui, General Manager of our company, Wang Liusheng, Deputy General Manager, Fu Yingmin, Deputy General Manager, and Dong Jiayi, Director of the Marketing Department of Jiangchuan Power Supply Co., Ltd. Chairman Lu delivered an enthusiastic speech, hoping that the contestants would carry forward the team spirit, strive actively, respect the judges, and achieve good results. General Manager Wan Ronghui welcomed all leaders, guests, and contestants to the company for the competition and expressed willingness to provide all necessary support to ensure the smooth progress of the competition.
Practical competition site
A total of 9 teams and 36 contestants participated in this competition, among which the Jiangchuan Power Supply Company team did not compete for rankings. After a day of intense theoretical examinations and practical competitions, the judges conducted fair adjudication, evaluated the exam papers, and worked on-site, ultimately selecting 3 teams for first, second, and third place, and awarding 6 individual prizes for first, second, and third place. In this competition, the company team won first place, contestant Xing Yongguang won second place, and Huang Laisheng and Diao Xuefei won third place.

During the event, the company carefully formulated the implementation plan, strengthened publicity, created a good atmosphere for the competition, promoted the event on the electronic display screen in the office building, hung slogans at the competition site, and created a flat background for publicity. 36 examination desks were set up and 9 workstations were divided for theoretical and practical competitions. At the same time, arrangements were made for venue, tools, and other event guarantees, as well as services for food, accommodation, transportation, medical support, food safety, public safety, and parking coordination, ensuring the smooth progress of the competition.
