On June 19th at 10:00 AM, in accordance with the requirements of the 2014 "Safety Production Month" activity document, the company, in collaboration with the County Safety Supervision Bureau, held a special lecture themed "Strengthening the Awareness of the Red Line and Promoting Safe Development" to study General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on safety production.
On June 19 at 10:00 AM, in accordance with the requirements of the 2014 "Safety Production Month" activity document, the company, in collaboration with the County Safety Supervision Bureau, held a special lecture themed "Strengthening Red Line Awareness and Promoting Safe Development" to study General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on safety production. The meeting was hosted by Rao Zhizhen, the manager of the company's Safety and Environmental Protection Department. Tian Qian from the Yuxi City Safety Supervision Bureau gave a speech, and Wang Liusheng, the company's deputy general manager, delivered a keynote address. Yang Shaofen, the director of the Jiangchuan County Safety Supervision Bureau, Chen Guolian, the head of the Occupational Health Division, and 91 other leaders and employees from the group company participated in the learning activity.
The special lecture was presented by Wang Yanming, a registered safety engineer from the Jiangchuan Firearms Testing Station, commissioned by the County Safety Supervision Bureau. It mainly reported various safety production accidents and occupational disease cases that occurred nationwide in 2014, particularly highlighting that four safety accidents that occurred in Yunnan this year ranked first in the country, indicating a very severe safety production situation. The lecture also objectively analyzed several major safety accident cases related to yellow phosphorus transportation and leakage, using video images and shocking data; each accident was alarming, and the lessons learned were heartbreaking. The lecture further explained the requirements for safety standardization management, emphasizing the implementation of the safety production responsibility system and the comprehensive fulfillment of the enterprise's main responsibility for safety production. It called for all levels of departments to form a situation where "managing the industry must include managing safety, managing business must include managing safety, managing production must include managing safety, and there must be shared responsibility between the party and government, dual responsibility for one position, and joint management."
This special lecture was not only an activity organized by the County Safety Supervision Bureau to deliver safety knowledge to enterprises but also a concrete manifestation of the enterprise's initiative to "hold a safety class." Through this learning, it has practical guiding significance for improving the safety awareness of a wide range of employees.
