Under the leadership of the company leaders, the research team visited the assembly site of the company's flame retardant production line equipment, the flame retardant laboratory and analysis room, as well as the control rooms of electric furnaces No. 5 and No. 6. The research team inquired about their concerns while touring.
At the subsequent research meeting, the company's general manager Wan Ronghui reported relevant situations to the research team. First, he introduced the preparations and achievements made by the company in the first half of the year to resume production, focusing on the construction of the switch station, the replacement of transformers, fundraising, and high-tech enterprise certification; second, the safety and environmental protection situation. Focusing on the company's strategy of 'phosphorus-based, environmental protection first, and refined development', he highlighted the safety standard review, 'integrated' management, and the creation of green factories. When discussing environmental protection, General Wan detailed a series of achievements in environmental protection, mainly including the comprehensive utilization of yellow phosphorus tail gas, the closed-loop recycling of production and domestic water, the processing and utilization of mineral powder and coke powder, the utilization of phosphorus slag, and the recovery and purification of mud phosphorus and flue gas; third, the current problems faced by the company. The main issues include: local ores, silica, and limestone are either difficult to obtain mining permits or the original suppliers have been shut down, forcing the company to purchase raw materials at high prices from outside the district to maintain production, affecting the company's operational results; there is significant pressure regarding safety and environmental protection.
After listening to General Wan's report, Deputy Director Li Baoping spoke, expressing gratitude to several leaders of Jiangphosphorus for their support of this research work. He affirmed the achievements of Jiangphosphorus in high-tech and flame retardant research and development, and stated that the district's People's Congress is willing to actively and truthfully reflect the problems encountered in enterprise development in various occasions.
