The employee representative conference of Jianglin Group was held in 2019.

　　On March 21, 2019, the Jianglin Group 2019 Employee Representative Conference was held at Jiangchuan Hotel. A total of 114 employee representatives from various workshops, departments, and subsidiaries, along with 24 special invited representatives and attending representatives, participated in the meeting. Company leaders Wan Ronghui, Wang Liusheng, and Deng Ping were seated on the podium, and Li Weidong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangchuan District Committee and Executive Deputy District Mayor, along with other department leaders, attended the meeting and were seated in front of the podium.

　　At the preparatory meeting, the chairman of the company’s trade union, Wang Liusheng, delivered a report on the preparation work for the 2019 Employee Representative Conference and the changes in the number of representatives.

　　Subsequently, the 2019 Employee Representative Conference was opened amidst the solemn national anthem. The company’s Vice President of Production, Deng Ping, presided over the morning session of the meeting.

　　Comrade Li Weidong, a member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee and Executive Deputy District Mayor, on behalf of the District Committee Secretary and District Mayor, expressed warm congratulations on the convening of this Employee Representative Conference and wished the conference a complete success. He elaborated on the importance and necessity of establishing the Employee Representative Conference system in enterprises, affirmed the achievements made by the company in 2018, and stated, 'Jianglin once created brilliance, and is now striving to create the future.' He believes that under the leadership of the company’s board of directors and with the efforts of all employee representatives and workers, they will surely overcome difficulties together and create a better future. The District Committee and District Government are willing to work together with Jianglin.

　　Dai Yanfen, Vice Chairman of the District Federation of Trade Unions, expressed warm congratulations on the convening of the conference on behalf of the District Federation of Trade Unions and thanked the company leaders for their concern and support for the trade union work. She affirmed the achievements of the company’s trade union work and proposed five points of opinions and suggestions on how to do a good job in trade union work under the new situation: First, to be guided by Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 19th National Congress, leading employees to follow the Party and listen to its words; second, to guide employees to contribute to the development of the enterprise; third, to establish various systems to improve the level of trade union work; fourth, to enhance employees' skills and quality to achieve common development; fifth, to strengthen democratic management and supervision, and coordinate various relationships well.

　　At the meeting, representatives listened to the work report titled 'Creating Green Factories to Promote Jianglin's High-Quality Transformation and Development' presented by the company’s general manager Wan Ronghui; listened to the financial report titled '2018 Annual Financial Settlement and 2019 Financial Budget Plan' presented by the manager of the finance department, Zhang Yan; and listened to the trade union report titled 'Uniting to Overcome Difficulties and Providing Strong Guarantees for the Company’s High-Quality Green Development' presented by the chairman of the trade union, Wang Liusheng.

　　Looking back at 2018, challenges and pressures coexisted, difficulties and contradictions intertwined. The Jianglin team faced difficulties without slackening their efforts, advancing steadily, fully stabilizing the company’s production and operation, vigorously promoting project construction, continuously optimizing the development environment, boldly exploring development opportunities, and achieving safe and steady progress. Looking ahead to 2019, the external environment for the company’s development is more complex and severe than in 2018, with many difficulties and great pressure, and the work tasks for the entire year are arduous and heavy.

　　In the afternoon, the participating representatives were divided into five groups to discuss the 'Employee Handbook', the company’s work report, and other topics. During the discussions, the representatives expressed their opinions freely, combined the meeting theme with their actual work positions, and proposed many valuable opinions and suggestions.

　　The afternoon meeting was presided over by Wang Liusheng, the company’s Vice President of Administration.

　　During the afternoon meeting, the conference voted to approve the 'Employee Handbook'.

　　The conference recognized 14 advanced collectives and 25 outstanding individuals that emerged in 2018.

　　In his speech, he stated that the general manager's 'Work Report' serves as the action program and work guide for the entire year’s production and operation, which is a rigid task that must be completed. After the meeting, he hopes to carefully sort out the work arranged for the year, clarify responsible units and leading personnel, and organize implementation seriously. The publicity department should quickly promote the spirit of the meeting, and he also hopes that the representatives will actively take action to bring the spirit of the meeting to the broad masses of employees, unite all cadres and employees, face new challenges head-on, demonstrate new achievements, create new situations, and jointly complete the production and operation development goals for 2019.
